The Lady Behind The Salon

Hi, I’m Jessica. I grew up in Saratoga County and settled in Burnt Hills, NY over a decade ago.

 

I love the area! This is why I decided to open Twisted Scissors Salon right in my own backyard.

I am regularly featured in global publications regarding hair coloring and hair health.

 

I have worked as a stylist and served the local community since 2001. I have two beautiful little girls who attend school locally as well.

 

I specialize in color, ESPECIALLY blondes and gray blending. I love balayage because it's like painting a beautiful portrait where your hair becomes my canvas.

 

I love creating that multi-dimensional look and seeing my client's happiness with the final result. 

 

I am a very good listener to my client's needs and I have many years of experience listening to create exactly what my clients are looking for. I take pride in setting realistic expectations while creating an action plan to get you exactly where you want your hair to be.

My passion is healthy and beautiful hair. Whatever your hair goals are, we will achieve them. If it will require several appointments to get the hair of your dreams I will lay out an action plan to get you there. But make no mistake about it, we will get there.

When I’m not with my clients I put family before anything. I love spending time outside on hikes, kayaking, swimming, and playing with my adorable kids. My self-care time includes running, yoga, and reading a great book.
